What is Design Tribe?

Design Tribe is a creative subscription service that runs on a month-to-month basis.

In return for your subscription, we carry out all the design work traditionally done by an external agency or in-house design team - fast & effectively.

There is no long-term commitment and your subscription can be paused or cancelled anytime, giving you ultimate flexibility.

Where are you based?

All of our design team are based in the UK. Unlike other design subscription services, you can rest assured that your requests will be fulfilled by our team here in the UK and won’t be outsourced.

How do I know I’m going to get quality work?

Our small team is made up of experienced, award-winning designers and creatives across a range of disciplines. We pride ourselves on the quality of work we provide.

How does it work?

How does Design Tribe work?

Once you’re subscribed, you get access to your own space where you can add an unlimited amount of design requests. You choose the priority in which you want them tackling and we get to work completing them one-by-one.

The request we’re currently working on is referred to as the ‘Live Task’.

How long does it take to get set up?

Simply sign up on the website, add your requests and we’ll get started right away. If you’d prefer to have an intro call with us first then great, you can also book that here on the website.

What is the turnaround time?

Depending on your subscription level and the complexity of your request, most tasks are completed in 48-72 hours.

What if I want to change my requests?

With the exception of the Live Task, you can change and re-prioritise your requests as much as you wish.

What if I want to speak to you?

That’s fine. Although we try to keep meetings to a minimum so we can focus on creating world-class design, we realise that we’ll need to chat through some of your requests in more detail.

What if I’m not happy with the work?

Work isn’t marked as complete until you’re completely happy with it. That why we tackle each task one-by-one - so we can offer you unlimited updates & revisions to ensure your satisfaction.

What software do you use?

The software we use depends on the type of request, but we design primarily in Figma. We also utilise Adobe Creative Suite and other software as appropriate for the task at hand.

Why not just hire a designer?

Our flexible service means you can utilise the skills of multiple designers in a much more timely and cost-effective way than hiring a designer.

Employing a senior designer in the UK costs around £60-80k, so our packages can save you a considerable amount of money when compared to traditional hiring. You also don’t have to worry about expensive software licences, pensions and other employee benefits.

On top of that, you can pause and resume your subscription as and when you need to so you’re only paying for design work when you need it.

How does Design Tribe compare vs a Senior Designer?

Our subscription costs as little as £2,999.00 + VAT per month vs the average UK monthly salary of circa £5,000 per month + tax, benefits, pension and other employment related setup costs.
